Internship: Lee Jae Hyo

During my year off from RISD, I had the opportunity to intern for Lee Jae Hyo in Seoul after reaching out to him with a cold email.

His studio is open to the public, and a daily part of my internship is to give visitors a tour of his huge galleries.

Lee Jae Hyo was also generous enough to give me a desk space in his studio, and access to his wood and metal shop.

During my internship, we had the opportunity to work abroad in Italy to create a custom hanging sculpture using local stones from Lake Maggiore.
