These two ceramic sculptures were developed as a pair, to be placed nesting each other. Their forms were developed from the silhouette of their footprints, which were motion-tracked forms that intrigued the artist selected for their unique but timeless quality.
Korean Porcelain and celadon glaze was chosen as the material for its traditional timelessness and proximity to nature; Korean Ceramicists were originally inspired by the tint of freshly fallen snow to develop their celadon glaze hue.
These sculptures can be purchased individually or as a pair. They are slip-cast ceramic sculptures, hollow on the inside. This series is available in both sand-blasted matte finish and glossy finish.
